The Earmark.mdb (Microsoft Access) file is intended to be used through Excel in the exercise for this appendix. However, two steps are required for this use to work.

First, copy the file and Earmark.dbf to a location you can find on your local computer.

Second, open Earmark.mdb with Access. Click on dB Earmark. Right click and find the menu option Linked Table Manager. Using that feature, search for Earmark.dbf on your local computer and update the file location.

For the exercise, use the copy of Earmark.mdb on your local computer.
